Bruns views ultimately require homogenity. problem is that mainstream media produces polarization and if they would simply get out of the way the population would naturally move together. blogs dont need to appeal to the masses.

12:41 - if a group reaches consensus, any outlier who comes into that rhelm with a different view point they will be seen as a troll. Shirky and power laws
